NDAL 50×50 International July 2017 League Results

The NDAL 50×50 International July 2017 League featured a numbered course designed by Dennis Vogel. This month begins the Summer Series which shall run for three months, July through September, 2017.

The top scoring dog in the 50×50 International was Ripley, a Border Collie handled by Nic Ford. Ripley finished this course with zero faults in a time of 24.73 seconds, and earned 71 LifetimePerformance Points (LPP). Ripley and Nic play for Wicked West Australians in Banjup, Western Australia.

Wicked West Australians won the July 50×50 International league.

The second place dog in July also represented Wicked West Australians. Jay, a Border Collie handled by Sylvia Hamilton finished this course with zero faults in a time of 24.98 seconds, earning 70 LPP.

Secretaries Notes: We had two clubs decline to play in the month of July, one on account of the oppressive heat of Summer, and the other for having run out of days in the month We also had a club join the 50×50 International ~ High Sierra Canine Agility Club in Markleeville, CA.

NDAL 50×70 Fast & Fun July 2017 League Results

The NDAL 50×70 Fast & Fun July 2017 League featured a numbered course designed by Dennis Vogel. This month begins the Summer Series which shall run for three months, July through September, 2017.

The top scoring dog in the 50×70 Fast & Fun was Ripley, a Border Collie handled by Nic Ford. Ripley finished this course with zero faults in a time of 29.83 seconds, and earned 164 Lifetime Performance Points (LPP). Ripley and Nic play for Wicked West Australians in Banjup, Western Australia.

However, Wicked West Australians did not win the July 50×70 Fast & Fun league.

The second place dog in July was Sumo, a Staffie Cross handled by Roche Compaan. Sumo finished this course with zero faults in a time of 30.44 seconds, and earned 163 LPP. Sumo and Roche play for United Colours of Agility in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Neither did United Colours of Agility win the July 50×70 Fast & Fun league.

The top scoring team for July was AQ4U’s Fast & Furryous in Louisville, KY. The third place scoring dog then, was Trooper, an American Eskimo handled by Alex Embry. Trooper finished this course with zero faults in a time of 30.63 seconds, earning 162 LPP. Trooper and Alex play for AQ4U’s Fast & Furryous.

NDAL 60×90 Masters July 2017 League Results

The NDAL 60×90 Masters July 2017 League featured a numbered course designed by Dennis Vogel. This month begins the Summer Series which shall run for three months, July through September, 2017.

The top scoring dog in the 60×90 Masters was Blade, a Border Collie handled by Brian Wakefield. Blade finished this course with zero faults in a time of 31.90 seconds, and earned 97 Lifetime Performance Points (LPP). Blade and Brian play for AQ4U’s Fast & Furryous (CKY002) in Louisville, KY.

The top scoring team for July, however, was United Colours of Agility (CSA001) in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. A team score is made up of the combined LPP of the top five scoring dogs for that franchise. The top scoring dog for United Colours of Agility was GEMMA, a BORDER COLLIE handled by SUSAN DAWSON. Gemma finished this course with zero faults in a time of 31.95 seconds, earning 96 LPP:

Briefing

Power & Speed is a two-part game. The first part, POWER is untimed. Any faults earned are added to the dog’s overall score. Refusals will NOT be faulted. However, three “on & off” refusals will be deemed a Failure to Perform.

The SPEED part is timed. This game is scored Time, Plus Faults, Less Bonus.

A TimeWarp Bonus (10 points) is earned for the dog working away at jumps #7 through #9 without fault, while the handler works on the opposite side of the handler containment line (red line).
