36×85 Fast & Fun 2019 August Results

The second month of the NDAL 36×85 Fast & Fun league Summer series featured a numbered course.


A numbered course is scored Time, Plus Faults.

Club Report

Four clubs that compete in this league have opted to sit out the oppressive summer heat. Three will return in October, and one will return in September. This leaves the league with three teams in hot contention for the Summer Series.

Top Dog

The top scoring dog in the August 2019 36×85 Fast & Fun league was Scarlett, a Border Collie handled by Gabriela Orozco. Scarlett and Gaby finished this course with zero faults in 27.13 seconds:

First Place Team

Sport Dogs Jalisco out of Guadalajara, Mexico dominated the August competition, managing to take the top five placements for the month. Gabriela Orozco’s pack of Border Collies swept the top three placements. The second place dog in August was Twister, a Border Collie, finishing the course with zero faults in 28.12 seconds:

Sport Dogs Jalisco is in last place in the 36×85 Fast & Fun Summer Series. It’s worth noting that they won August by 36 points, and are only 23 points out of first place. So, September will be interesting.

Second Place Team

Country Dream Agility in Waterford, Ohio again managed second place in August. The top scoring dog for Country Dream was Kory, a Border Collie handled by Bud Houston. Kory and Bud finished this course with zero faults in 41.26 seconds:

Country Dream moves into a tie with the first-place team for the Summer Series.

Third Place Team

Dirty Dogs Agility League out of Parker, Colorado placed third in the August competition.

The top scoring dog for Dirty Dogs in August was Lilly, an All American handled by Karen Harris. Lilly and Karen finished the course with zero faults in 39.24 seconds:

Dirty Dogs remains in first-place in the Summer Series, albeit in a tie with Country Dream, with Sport Dogs Jalisco making a mad run for the series.
